Mapledurham Playing Fields
Upper Woodcote Road, Caversham Heights, Reading, Berkshire, RG4 7LD.
Directions: Directions from Reading
Take the IDR (Inner Distribution Road) towards Caversham.
At the TGI Fridays Roundabout, turn into Caversham Road and follow signs towards Caversham.
At the next roundabout take the second exit and get in the left hand lane.
Cross over Caversham Bridge.
At the set of traffic lights, turn left into Church Road signposted Wallingford and Oxford.
After 1.2 miles turn left into the Recreation Ground or for Pitches 1-4 use street parking as below.
The entrance is about 20 yards after the yellow speed camera

Mapledurham Pavilion Car Park is limited, but the adjacent school car park can be used. Please
remove mud from your boots before entering car park. Muddy the school car park we lose the
right to use it.
Please don’t park on the driveway path. Council traffic wardens visit the area at least once on a
Saturday and will put penalty notices on offending cars.
When the car park is full please use surrounding streets (e.g. Woodcote Way RG4
7HJ). Please do not park on bends or directly opposite resident’s cars. Don’t
create tight chicanes, always think can an emergency vehicle get by without the
need to slow down? if you can’t easily answer this question then park elsewhere.

Facilities
Toilet facilities are available until 1pm when the shack closes. See home coach for access to toilet facilities
after these hours.
